Yank It!
This is not one of Smith’s best films. The movie left much to be desired. The concept of the movie was good. I can appreciate a story about one who is trying to right w
rongs by helping those in need. However, the movie began slow and never gained momentum. It seemed as if I spent the first 30 minutes or more of the movie confused and trying to figure out what was going on, and when I did finally catch on to what was going on, the plot became predictable and a little unbelievable. The only decent part of the movie was the anti-climactic end, when everything came full circle and the audience is (or at least I was) able to predict the ending of the movie. Although I am a big Will Smith fan, my advice would be to save the seven or eight bucks it cost to see the movie and wait until it’s released on video.

I agree that the movie was not the best. I blame the person who wrote the screenplay and director. The concept of the movie was interesting, but it was poorly written and executed.
