Best friends Danny (Paul Rudd) and Wheeler (Seann William Scott) are salesmen going nowhere fast. When Danny tries to make himself feel better about his life by asking his longtime girlfriend to marry him, she refuses, and things go from bad to worse. Danny and Wheeler wreck a company truck and are left with two options from the court: go to jail or serve 150 community service hours at a local mentorship program, “Sturdy Wings.” When both opt for the community service, chaos ensues. Danny and Wheeler become mentors and are paired with two kids who make serving 150 hours seem like an eternity. Forced to spend time with these kids, put up with their antics or face jail time, Wheeler and Danny have no choice but to make it work!
Bank It!
If you like movies like Napoleon Dynamite and Road Trip, you’ll appreciate this movie. This comedy had me laughing almost the entire time. A bit silly and over the top at times, this movie has a mediocre story line, but a small moral within it. Honestly, Ronnie (Bobb’e J. Thompson) the kid who makes Wheeler’s (Scott) life a living hell makes the movie as hilarious as it is with his crude and inappropriate behavior and language. With scenes involving fake sword fights with dramatic deaths (think Star Wars meets Dodgeball) this movie is definitely worth the trip to the theatre or at best a rental at your local video store. If you’re a comedy buff or not, this movie is sure to illicit a few laughs
